• Salary Threshold: From 2026, the minimum salary for an EP is **S$5,600** (higher for older or finance sector applicants).
• COMPASS Score: Applications are scored based on salary, qualifications, firm diversity, and local job support. You need 40 points to pass.
• One Pass: High-earners (S$30,000+ monthly) can apply for the Overseas Networks & Expertise (ONE) Pass for 5 years of flexibility.

Singapore maintains some of the world's strictest customs regulations.

• Chewing Gum: Importing chewing gum is strictly prohibited (except for approved dental/medicated gum).
• Vapes/E-Cigarettes: Possession and import of vapes or e-cigarettes are completely illegal.
• Tobacco: There is no duty-free allowance for tobacco; all cigarettes must be declared and taxed at customs.
