Pakistan Visit Hub 2026

Indian citizens MUST have a valid "Sponsorship Certificate" from a host in Pakistan.

• Who can sponsor? Only a close relative or a friend who is a Pakistani citizen.
• The Affidavit: The host must provide an invitation letter printed on a **Government of Pakistan Stamp Paper (Affidavit)**.
• Documents needed: Copy of host's **CNIC** (National ID) and a recent utility bill as proof of residence in Pakistan.
• Certification: The host must certify that they will be fully responsible for the applicant during their entire stay.

Pakistan does NOT offer e-Visa for Indian passport holders. Process is entirely manual/offline.

• Submission Hub: Applications must be submitted in person (or via authorized mail) to the **Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi**.
• Documents: Original passport (valid 1 year), 4 copies of the Visa Information Form, and PAN Card/Voter ID copies.
• Wait Time: Security clearance is mandatory, so processing takes at least **30 to 35 days**.
• Police Reporting: Indians MUST report for Police Registration within **24 hours** of entry and before leaving each city visited.

The only land crossing has seen significant disruption recently.

• Current Status: As of February 2026, the Wagah-Attari land border is **closed** for individual cross-border travel.
• Air Travel: Applicants are strongly advised to fly (e.g., via Dubai or Doha) as land routes are currently suspended.
• Same Port Rule: Your entry and exit points must be the same (e.g., if you fly into Lahore, you must fly out from Lahore).
• Currency: You must be in possession of at least **US $45** (or equivalent) at the time of entry.

Customs and health rules are strictly enforced at all entry points.

• Polio Certificate: A valid **Polio Vaccination Certificate** (within 1 year) is mandatory for both entry and exit.
• FRC Requirement: Carry an original **NADRA FRC** (if applying as a spouse/child of a Pakistani citizen) to prove lineage.
• Food Alert: Strictly NO prohibited plant or animal products. Customs screening for Indian travelers is extensive.
• City Restrictions: You can only visit the specific cities listed on your visa; traveling elsewhere is a serious legal violation.
