Indian citizens qualify for a 30-day e-Visa ONLY under specific conditions.

• Supporting Documents: You MUST hold a valid visa or residence permit from the **USA, UK, Ireland, or any Schengen country**.
• Application: 100% online via *www.evisa.gov.tr*. Approval is often within minutes but officially up to 48 hours.
• Fee: Total cost is **USD $43** (plus bank charges).
• Entry: Single entry only. The supporting visa must be valid on the day you enter Turkey.

For those without US/UK/Schengen visas, a traditional sticker visa is mandatory.

• Application Centers: Turkey uses **Gateway International** (in collaboration with VFS Global) across 16 Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
• Financial Mandate: Recommended bank balance of at least **&rupee;1.5 – 2 Lakhs** per person.
• Biometrics: Mandatory fingerprint and photo collection at the center.
• Documents: Last 3 years' ITR, 6 months' bank statements (stamped), and 2 biometric photos (2.5 x 2.5 inches).

Turkey has high biosecurity and medical standards for 2026 entry.

• Health Insurance: Mandatory coverage of at least **€30,000 (or $50,000)** for all visa types.
• Photo Specs: Two biometric color photos (2.5 x 2.5 inch) with 80% face coverage on a white background.
• Daily Funds: You must prove access to at least **USD $50 per day** for the duration of your stay.
• Minor Consent: Applicants under 18 traveling with one or no parents require a notarized NOC from the absent parent(s).

Border Force at IST and SAW airports enforces strict rules on imports.

• Currency Entry: No limit on entry, but you must declare cash exceeding **USD $10,000**.
• Paan/Tobacco: Strictly NO chewing tobacco or **Paan** products. Large quantities can lead to immediate visa cancellation.
• Old Passport: If your supporting visa (US/UK) is on an old passport, you MUST carry both the old and new passports.
• Accomodation: Physical printouts of hotel bookings and return flight tickets are often requested at immigration.
