• 2026 Update: The "Miscellaneous Services" (like re-issuance after getting a new passport) have been further simplified and can now be done online without physical submission in most cases.

India is phasing out paper arrival forms. From early 2026, a digital declaration is required.

• Submission: Travelers must complete the digital arrival card via the official Air Suvidha or Visa portal within **72 hours** of arrival.
• Proof: You may be asked to show the QR code or confirmation email during boarding or at Indian immigration.

India enforces strict rules regarding specific technology and high-value items.

• Satellite Phones: Carrying satellite phones (like Iridium) is strictly illegal in India and can lead to immediate arrest.
• Drones: Importing drones without prior permission from the WPC and DGCA is prohibited.
