1. Tourism & Short-Term Stays Visa-Free
U.S. citizens can enter Germany without a visa for stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
- ETIAS (Late 2026): US travelers will eventually need an ETIAS authorization before flying. It is linked to your passport and valid for 3 years.
